Lost Headings in Mail or News Window

First try moving the cursor to the double line that divides the upper two panes. When the cursor changes shape, grab the line and move it all the way to the left. See if this reveals your other headers.

If this doesn't work, you can get everything back by starting a new preferences file. Since you'll have to fill out all the information again, make a note of any preferences in the Options pull-down menu you think you may not remember.

Close Netscape. Open |System Folder|Preferences|Netscape f| and trash the Netscape Preferences file (but don't empty the trash until you're satisfied with the new preferences). When you restart Netscape, all your columns should be back.

The same procedure applies to lost news headings.
