The hyperlink "Get Extensions" in Messenger 9.0 points to AOL's Netscape page, not to addons/mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird. I am using WinME on a Pentium II IBM ThinkPad. As far as upgrading, Thunderbird 2.0 and Messenger 9.0 are essentially the same. How can I get to about:config in Messenger 9, or can I change the weblink in prefs.js or some other javascript file? |

You're wasting your time with Messenger 9 as it was only a single release alpha and not supported. If you continue to use it you may lose everything. Uninstall it, best suggestion.

Not only Netscape Messenger did not go past the alpha stage, but it includes all the features of Mozilla Thunderbird 2.0.0.9. It appeared more than three years ago. Thunderbird's latest version is 2.0.0.24. |
